Her Majesties New Zealand Ship Te Kaha visiting North Vancouver en route to the centennial celebrations of the Canadian Navy in Victoria. Just bristling with military stuff.

Gassy Jack

 

Statue of Gassy Jack standing on a whiskey barrel in Vancouvers Gastown area. He operated a bar in the area and liked to talk - gassy. He reportedly married his deceased wifes 12 year old neice - ghastly Jack.

Old Vancouver

The old Vancouver Coroners Court built in 1932 at East Cordova and Gore. Now the Police Museum. Had a great day drawing downtown, sitting in the shade across the street on a sunny June day.
