The Safeway chain of grocery stores often have a Starbucks coffee shop in them. This one is in Tsawwassen BC Delta Canada.

Terra Breads is a great bakery and cafe on 5th Ave in Vancouver BC Canada. Great soup and sandwich. Back in business with a scanner which produces a nice clear image. I put a B nib in my Lamy Safari fountain pen, gives my drawing quite a different look.

Coffee Break

Ink in a Fabriano Venezia 6X9 sketchbook, drawn in Tsawwassen, Delta, BC at Starbucks. It is a classy sketchbook, relatively expensive, and I hate not to use it but I find a bound book awkward to use. And my scanner is not working with my new OSX so I am using my camera and I get this blue tinge. Drat!

In Ladner Harbour, Delta, BC, Canada. These guys may have been a little too aggressive in the past as some of the the fish runs are not what they used to be. Graphite, ink, watercolour on 80lb Bee Paper Co-Mo Sketch 9X12.

Textman

I upgraded to OS X 10.8.2, first upgrade in 5 years, and of course my training wheels scanner does not have a driver for that, coming soon of course, so I am back to photos and can't get that same white background. I think I will just find a cave and draw on the wall. I know, that would suit you fine!

Trying a small Yarka watercolor set that is easy to carry and use on location, but not too tiny. I think I will like the colours. I like the price, $8CDN, even cheaper in the US. Drawing on the commuter train in Vancouver.
