price. I love drawing on the paper. Then I decided rather than having loose sheets from the pad I would get some sketchbooks made at Staples. Worked great, the paper I want 
in a sketchbook all at a great price.

Stylus Parking

Stylus is a furniture manufacturer in Vancouver. I got tired of looking at material swatches, sat in the car and drew. Thank God for drawing.

This food importer operates a great deli and store. I drew the flowers while we were having lunch.

Cambie Hostel

I sat across the street from the Cambie Hostel in Gastown, Cambie and Cordova streets, in Vancouver BC in a favo
urite cafe and drew this. I have done it before, I love sitting at the window of the cafe drawing and watching the world go by. Still giving the colour pencils a try, it is a learning curve, all enjoyable.

Sterling Bank

We live five minutes from the US border and often go down to get cheap gas and beer. The Sterling Bank is in a very modest building on the parking lot of the International Market, grocery store.

On the 601

I took the bus, number 601, from Tsawwassen to the train station in Richmond, going into Vancouver to the library and do some sketching. This fellow was sitting across the aisle. Vancouver BC Canada.

Ladner Harbour

Fishboats moored in Ladner Harbour. It was a misty, grey day but that effect in this drawing was caused by the pebbly surface of Arches 90lb paper, which I rarely use, and the EF nib on my pen, scratchy. Drawn at Ladner, Delta BC Canada.
