Granville Island

Once an industrial area, now an area with a public market, restaurants, art galleries, marina, retail shops, and much more, it is a great place to draw. Our meet up group went there again yesterday and met up with some of the Whidbey Island, USA sketchers, a great day.

Heritage Hall, Vancouver BC Canada

Built in 1915 as a Post Office and subsequently used as a Federal Agricultural office and then by the RCMP it is now a community and cultural resource centre. Located at the corner of 15th Avenue and Main Street, a grand old building.

Steveston Channel

This is a view down Steveston Channel from an area called London Dock, a little east of the village of Steveston, BC, Canada. Steveston at one time was a very busy commercial fishing community. The location is at the mouth of the Fraser River.
