Sat across the street on the corner of Burrard and Nelson and drew the corner tower of the church. One day I am going back to draw the whole church.
Retired with a sketchbook and a cup of coffee. Thanks for coming by.

"Handcar", CPR station, Port Moody BC
Port Moody was the original western terminus for the Canadian Pacific Railway, before it went to Vancouver. This is a hand operated "handcar" which would carry a couple of men down the tracks for maintenance jobs. The old station and some equipment are now a heritage site.

St. Pauls from the Millenium Bridge, London
I saw this in May on our trip to the UK. Drew it from a photo, so not strictly according to the Urban Sketch rules of actually drawing on site. Couldn't resist doing the drawing.

Langley Townhouses
Langley BC has gone from rural to pretty urban in recent years. Sat in a coffee shop and drew these townhouses with my neat new pen, a Sakura SumoGrip II gel 05, waterproof ink etc. Maybe I draw just so I can cruise the art supply stores.

Port Moody
Port Moody BC Canada has a new high rise condo village. Retail stores on the ground floor, residences above. Windows everywhere. A very convenient place to live and shop.
